Diddy's Downfall
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been hit with a wave of civil lawsuits in recent months and is now a subject of a federal investigation. Since November 2023, Combs has been hit with five lawsuits in New York accusing him of sexual assault, sexual trafficking, and engaging in other criminal activity. Combs has denied all of the allegations, going as far as calling them 'sickening.' Even though Combs as yet to be charged after home raids in California and Florida, there is definitely more to the story.

President Biden's TikTok Ban
What was once known as an app for young people to pass the time, TikTok faces a potential nationwide ban following President Biden's new bill. TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, has 270 days to sell or spin off the platform -- or it will be banned from U.S. app stores. TikTok CEO Shou Chew argues the ban violates First Amendment rights and plans on taking the matter to court. However the ruling may fall, the idea of a potential ban completely changes the way we use social media and express ourselves online.
Girl Scouts Troop 6000
The first-of-a-kind program serving girls and women living in homeless shelters began here at a Sleep Inn Hotel in Queens. Started by a displaced mother of five children, Troop 6000 has expanded to 23 shelters across all five boroughs. Today, the troop has over 2,000 members and has allowed young girls to join a community they have been yearning for.

For the millions of New Yorkers who use public transit on a daily, they spend a collective 35,000 hours commuting throughout the five boroughs. With so much time spent underground, many commuters have complained that the MTA has neglected the importance of public transport. Fix the MTA campaign consists of a package of bills that would make commuting in the city more reliable.

A New York Grand Jury voted to indict the Former President over his alleged involvement in a hush money payment scheme during the 2016 presidential campaign.
